How common is it for a stitch to pop? (Day 9 Pic?)

I am just wondering because I'm assuming i must have moved improperly or in a rapid movement of sorts and a stitch popped. It had to have happened roughly within an hour because i went pee earlier and that was fine and as I was getting into the shower I noticed. I then cleaned it up and put a gauge on it afterwords. Has this happened to anyone else before? Im not to worried, i notice that its a bit more inflamed in that specific area, with good reason I were to believe. Its at the base of where the frenelum would have been. Also to be noted there is no pain just the blood from the stitch I assume tore.

Hey, it can happen I wouldn't worry too much it's very common for the stitches to start coming loose my first stitch popped at only 5 days. you have a little bit of swelling there to go down it can take a long time for the bumps to go

Gotcha, the swelling ended up getting worse plus bleeding hasnt stopped. I got off the phone with a 24 hr medical line and got suggested to go to the ER. So now I'm at the ER waiting to be seen

Sorry to hear that man how did you get on there's probably not much they can do.

Yeah they told me that it happens sometimes and the internal healing should already be done foe the most part. I have a follow-up next week but if bleeding persists then to go back in this week to the ER. Still pain is maybe a 1/10 bleeding stopped but still swollen so hopefully itll clear up within the week.

That's good man you got on well. it does happen and there's not really much you can do they won't restitch it. just apply a bandage or pressure if it starts bleeding again maybe tomorrow if you think it won't start bleeding you could wash it with some salted water it's very good for healing and keeping infection away

Yeah thats what im going to do is salt water 3 times a day if i can if not at least twice. Just playing the waiting game and hopefully it heals with no problems

Hi zuca when you got to know that stitch has pooped out have you felt any pain while you experience erection. I am.on day three of cercumcision and on day two night I had a horrible pain when I had erection in the middle of the night I felt something has pooped out from the fernulem. When I saw the blood was coming out but by the evening the blood stooped and can see a clot at the top of the fernulem. But I can feel server pain when I get erection again at the same spot. 😢
