Peri fatigue and HRT

Hi,

I’m new to this forum but a regular on RA forum which I find so helpful,

I’m 46 and so presumed in peri-menopause, still have periods, bit erratically. I also have RA diagnosed 18 months ago. Which is now relatively well controlled on biologic.

My GP had prescribed combined HRT as my RA does flare before my period, but I’m struggling to get past the first few days of nausea. But my question to those on HRT is how beneficial you found it?

I suffer with debilitating fatigue in the week leading up to my period, v dizzy and spaced out. It could be an exacerbation of my RA, but just wondering if HRT may help with this so that I can persevere past the nausea. The fatigue is a real struggle.

but I’d really appreciate some positive HRT experiences if possible.

Thank you for reading.
