okay then not

So after upping my Sertraline a couple of weeks ago the last few days I began to feel a little better regarding my anxiety. Then this morning I woke up with all the anxiety symptoms again. I feel like my mind is playing with me winding me up only to wind me down again. 🥹. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. My heart goes out to all fellow sufferers 😘.

Have you considered HRT? I thought I was going crazy my symptoms only got worse and antidepressants do not help with the menopause as it’s a lack of hormones not serotonin. Maybe speak to your gp as topical hrt has been a life saver for me. I know its not for everyone but it really goes help!!

If you have a cycle, do you track it? I find that my anxiety is much higher when my body is full of Progesterone. As I've moved into perimenopause I have much less Oestrogen and so the Progesterone hit me much harder and I ended up anxious and depressed.
