I am 64 this year. I lost my Son who was killed in action when I was 49 and had my last period at 52. I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia but lately have had hot flushes and although I'm always exhausted I've felt even more so. It appears my blood tests were satisfactory. My Nurse Practitioner believes it could be my hormones. It's only lately I've felt 'dry' and I wouldn't care if I never had sex again. One doc gave me tablet form HRT another Doc was horrified I was given it especially in tablet form. I just wondered (I'm paying for a private blood/hormones test) if testosterone helps with libido? Thank you.

I would ask for a different type of HRT like gel spray or patches first. Maybe a local oestrogen to the vaginal area. Testosterone should help with libido.
