Hi, from what I understand you can get pregnant right up until your last egg is released. Medically, you have had your menopause if after 50 you have had a year without a period. If before 50 you need two years without a period. I became a mother at 45 to a healthy baby boy, after having given up in my mid 30's. If you don't want to get pregnant do take precautions!
