My husband was diagnosed with bacterial spinal meningitis on January 27. We knew nothing about it until then. He has a defibrillator implant that now is comprised due to the effect on his heart.

We are looking to see the long term effects.

Hi, me too suffering from TB meningitis since October 2017. The tb bacteria is spread all over my brain and spinalcord. The inflammatory reaction because of immune reaction has compressed my cords and i had two back surgeries done. They are going to give me some immune suppressant so that the inflammation will be reduced. This will save the surgery. The point i am making here is though it takes too many complication i see a light at the end of tunnel. It is bacteria anf nowadays will be 100% treated. Trust me all is well. Just don't give up.

Any sort if extra pulmonary TB is devistating. Inital right treatment helps. Just b strong and relax hav patience. Pomogranate and goat milk has anti bacterial effect. Support treatment has helped my dad to survive in TBM.

One of my friends mother had spine tb. It took 3 yrs for her to recover. Be strong n relax.
