He got involved with Neo Nazi's and they were financially abusing him, they also did something called cuckooing where they took over his flat and he would have some very nasty people staying there taking drugs, he also takes drugs. Crack and heroin. etc.
The police finally raided his flat and they found a large quantity of drugs and drug paraphernalia, also Neo Nazi paraphernalia. My son was also arrested but its worked out well as the police could obviously tell my son is backwards so they had an appropriate adult with him while they interviewed him, Then on release on bail social services safeguarding team were involved and they are supporting him. hopefully they move him into supported living where he can be looked after away from abuse. I hope they help him with his drug problems as well.
I just wanted to report back.

Here in my supported living house which I share with 3 other people, if one resident has a problem with either drinking or gambling (I don’t know about drugs) the staff team and managers of the complex put support plans into please and with the agreement of the services user there money is kept in the office and they are given a daily allowance and this has certainly helped me not going to overboard with buying alcohol.
Also it even helps being away from other people who do drugs as they won’t be so tempted to take drugs so clean start really. So support living is really beneficial I think for people with learning disabilities.
so sad and evil these people preying on our most vulnerable they prey on single woman as well cuckooing in his well known. One of my friends who has special needed a they did the same in his flat.
It sounds like a very difficult time for you but as you say at least now he’s properly in the system and should get the support he needs. Good luck to you all.
What an awful situation for him. I hope he gets all the support he needs now. Also just wanted to say, perhaps you could consider not using the word 'backwards' to describe your son. That is so outdated. How about just that he has a learning disability...? Best wishes to you and him.
That's great news that he's being better supported. I remember when you first posted on here regarding the problems your son was dealing with and your frustration and distress at not getting the help he needed. Hope all works out for you both now, so happy for you.💙
