activities or places to go in Hertfordshire
hi Barneydino youve been searching for places for a while now havent you?
this is where im lucky to live in manchester as there is so much things available for LD adults to do.
have you thought about setting up a social group for mums yourself - it isnt as hard as a lot of people think, especialy if using a ready made website like meetup.com (unfortunately it does cost to make your own group, when i used it,it was £10 a month to do it,the plus point with that website is you get a lot of people finding your group very quickly).
i run a social network for people with LD and friends/family on my server, you coud always have a group on there-and of course its a social network-no charge, even if it was just an online meet up social group.
you coud also ask around a few chiurch halls to see if any will lend you the hall or charge a low fee and all members can then pay towards it. with my group i had sorted out a place for free as it was owned by the company who support me.
i do hope somethign is found soon for both of you.
thank you for your help🙂
