🚽 Successful toileting for “all” children 🚽

Does your child, teenager or young person have a diagnosis of learning disability, autism or complex needs and is incontinent of wee and poo? Or, are you waiting for a diagnosis?

Does your child present with behaviours of “playing” with their wee or poo?

Does your child wee or poo in different places within your home?

Does your child “hide” to pass a wee or poo?

Will your child only use a “nappy” “pull up” or “pants” to pass a poo? And refuse to use the toilet?

Does your child hold onto their poo for many days and appear to be in discomfort when passing a poo? Or pass very “large” poos?

Does your child understand “what” the toilet is for?

Would you like to know “HOW” to help your child?

Thankyou for your enquiry Jofisher

When supporting children, young people in being successful with their wee, poo and toileting in the day and night, the first place we need start is establishing “what” is currently happening.

I appreciate that when our young people are doubling incontinent this means products or nappies are worn and it isn’t always easy to know, what is happening.

I would recommend monitoring your sons, wees (confirming when wee is being passed, if the product is light or heavy, and the time), poos (confirming the time, size, type according to the Bristol Stool Chart) confirming where these are passed for a fourteen day period

We are aiming for 4-7 wees being passed and either once a day, twice a day or three times a day poos being passed or four times a week.

Further help is available through my publications; Bowel and Bladder Assessment Pack, FREE supporting videos, via my YouTube channel Charmaine Champ

I am more than happy to discuss your sons individual needs further via a FREE introductory telephone consultation call in the UK and FREE introductory Zoom call outside of the UK.

I can also share the different support options available via email if you would like to forward this?
