Has anyone any experience of who could support a family who are not entitled to a disabled facilities grant for adaptions to their home as they have not been in the UK for the required 5 years? Young person is totally unable to access a bathroom at present.

Hello

I know that Cares Trust have a lot of information about grants and funds here - carers.org/grants-and-disco... and Turn 2 us have an online search here - grants-search.turn2us.org.uk/

You could also try local charities (if there is anything appropriate).

It would also be worth calling our helpline to see if they know of other help. Please call them on 0808 808 1111

Please let us know if how you get on.

Best wishes

Sarah
