One girl is looking for help. She has melanoma 4th level with 80 metastasis into the brain, Mektovi and Braftovi help her to live. But these drugs are not approved in her country. If you or your friend know someone who could help her get them for free or for small price if there’s leftovers. God bless you all.

SOS, Does anyone have Mektovi or Braftovi leftovers?
I am so sorry to hear these drugs aren’t available to her.. what country?
Russia
This makes me so sad. All people deserve to have treatments available for their melanoma. This is not an experimental treatment . It works well for many folks.Wish I had some meds to send her. I assume she tried asking the manufacturer?
I’m not sure. I only know that she asks anyone who can try help in search in other countries. Thanks for an idea. I will send her
I’m so sorry to hear she can’t get the drugs in her country. What country is this anyway? Tell her to please reach out to the manufacturer directly. They should help her.
Thank you. Country is Russia. I will say that to her👍
These are very expensive medications and are the newest version of BRAF/MEK inhibitor combinations which may or may not be available in every country or even with every insurance company in the US. They also carry risks and requirements for ongoing blood labs and must be prescribed by a physician. Shipping/"sharing" these medications can carry risks because you don't know if they've been altered, and it violates US federal law to do so. I tried to donate my husband's unused Braftovi/Mektovi and was informed by the Virginia Board of Pharmacy that this was not possible. This made me quite sad.
The good news is that there are other meds in this combination group that are also effective which can be explored. They can't be used PRN (as needed): they are designed for continuous use at full dosage for effectiveness.
Here are the other combinations below which should be available in Russia if they are appropriate to treat your friend's melanoma since they have been on the market longer with more studies to support them. If she does not have the BRAF V600K mutation, they are not effective and run a risk of worsening melanoma, which should be fully discussed with the treating oncologist.
This link reviews the names of all the BRAF and Mek Inhibitors. They work in combination and are mostly for tumor shrinkage and don't last forever, except in very rare cases.
