Yes I have the same. I have been on a beta blocker for many years to control the tachycardia.

The fatigue is debilitating. It's not a nice combination. I believe my fatigue is from my autoimmune liver disease..I have AIH. It is all a bit of a challenge shall we say!

My chronic fatigue only really appeared about 3 years ago before I was diagnosed with the autoimmune condition. A side effect of taking beta blockers can be tiredness due to them slowing the heart rate which is what they are meant to do but it's not like chronic fatigue.

Your 2 conditions could be unrelated like mine. Difficult to know.

Have you been offered bets blockers?

Is the tachycardia something that has recently appeared? How fast does your heart beat?

Have you had your thyroid vit b12 and iron levels checked?

Yep all normal.

I would check them yourself by getting the actual numbers with reference ranges. Doctors often comment 'normal' when you might not be. Very little understood by doctors, unfortunately.

I feel uncomfortable when tachycardia kicks in and have to rest. It takes half an hour for the beta blocker to kick in so I try to keep one step ahead. It sounds like you are coping well with it if it isn't causing any symptoms. The fatigue I am sure makes our hearts work harder if we are trying to push through.

0I would have thought that your c fatigue coupled with your fast heart rate when out walking would make anyone feel exhausted.

It would be good to keep in touch and to hear how you get on. I wish you all the best.

I have tachycardia from dysautonomia. My suspected cfs fatigue started months before that. The tachycardia (and dysautonomia) has definitely altered my fatigue patterns and triggers.
