Do any of you guys ever get a feeling... I guess you'd call it exhaustion in your chest some times when you talk too much?
Something exciting occurred this evening about 6:30pm and I was talking almost non-stop for about 90 minutes, then starting to feel a real weakness in my core/chest. I've had a wheezy cough as well since about 2pm.
Not got a cold or anything, and I do have a breathing dysfunction which probably isn't helping. But just wondered how much of this could be down to CF/ME? I know we all feel exhausted in the evenings, regardless.
I just gave up talking in the end.

Talked for 90 minutes solid? I couldn't even listen to someone that long!
I can't say I've ever really talked that much so can't help you that way but if its that thing where you feel you haven't got enough Oxygen and you feel the tension in your chest and have to gulp in air almost then that is normal, for ME, Much more so than talking for 90 minuets
Haha, yeah I guess I should feel lucky I got to talk that long.
I went to be last night my felt like my chest was just turning it it and had given up. I have a breathing prob separately anyway which doesn't help. Good lord this is frustrating.
Yes I get that too. Sometimes if friends come over and we are talking I get the feeling and then start wishing they would go so I could have a rest. First time it happened I was scared. I feel wheezy at the time too.
