A letter to the Lancet regarding the PACE trial. We have powerful friends!

These blogs are well worth a read if you are able. This is the second time multiple signatories have requested the withdrawal of the PACE trial from the publication due to serious methodological flaws. So far both the Lancet, and all other bodies or individuals with a role in this and with influence have proved deaf.

But just read the list of those that support the call: internationally respected research experts, ethicists, law experts, psychiatrists, psychologists, physio,, sports scientists and doctors that understand ME. Hope I haven’t left anyone out. Something to make our hearts sing and just in time for the Westminster Hall debate tomorrow.

Today is the Lords Thyroid debate and tomorrow is the 3 hour Westminster Hall debate, so all action. With approximately 350 people with ME in each constituency it should be a packed session. I will post one of the briefing documents.

Thank you so much cwill you are a star! :-) I shall await with eagerness.

I said to my OT at the Royal Derby Hospital CFS/ME clinic during my first assessment appointment, with my advocate present, that I do not want to undertake any GET as I don't need any more bullies in my world - I bully myself enough and that has exacerbated my condition!

She heard and agreed - that has taken care of that!
