does it have to be difficult?

I think that there are stigmas that might make it uncomfortable for a person who is struggling with mental health to feel confident about their ability to recover and heal. It’s important to find and keep positive , inspirational, and empowering tools and resources at hand.

I understand this 100%. I have a stigma about me because I have PTSD, MDD, and anxiety. Family members and some friends think of me as "Crazy" or "acting a certain way". The label me like I am a freak, and it makes me very sad because, like you, I am a human.

I turned it into something positive by being very candid with my struggles with MH. Just last night I posted a thing on FB about how I am struggling, and why I am not replying to people at this very moment. It allows people a glimpse into my life, and also helps them to see that I am not the bad things some people say.

I always refer the the phrase "mental health is health, some of us have worse health than others." It is such a true statement, and opens up the minds of others (hopefully) to be more kind.
