Hello, Good Morning it’s Friday and it’s Pom Pom Time!!

Yes, another week has slipped by, the drama and the chaos caused by Storm Ashley is but a distant memory, and the weather looks to be set fair for our only declared event for this weekend.

We have

🌟 the speedy   Time_Lord running in Stratfords Big 10k. This is the rearranged event to replace the original race which fell victim to flooding (one of those years!). The route looks beautiful. An out run from just south of Stratford Upon Avon to Milcote, and then back into the centre of town running alongside the River Avon. No shortage of apres run opportunities there! The main risk is forgetting to wind the clock back an hour on Saturday night and turning up an hour early….no problem for a Time Lord though!

And

🌟I believe that   TailChaser (which usually means   Katnap too) is also running here; if I have got that wrong I am sure that she will tell me!! They deserve Pom Poms for their achievements this year in any event 🙂.

So, a slightly quieter weekend 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞. What ever you are doing have a great time….and don’t forget to wave those Pom Poms frantically!! If we have missed anyone who is racing this weekend, just yell out and we will edit you in! Nobody should race without Pom Poms!

[Shake-and-run Half Marathon]

Good luck to the Stratford runners, sorry to not be joining you but I am committed to walk another 10 miles of the Cotswold Way on Sunday. We are told that we should be able to see glimpses of Bath (our final destination in December).

That extra hour in bed will be welcome. As we progress down the country the start times are getting earlier and I will be leaving the house at 6.15am. !!

I see him most days; the sun was shining on him earlier in the week so I captured the moment. We have lots of carvings up in the woods. They are all done by a local man who is happy to chat as he works. Very talented.
