Well, after last week's flurry of activity, things have gone a little quiet again!
At time of posting, we know of only one lovely VRB racing this weekend, but that's no excuse for slacking; our pompoms are still in demand, our shouts and cheers will be most welcome. So let's shake ourselves down and line up to show our full support, because:
⭐️On Sunday Hedgehogs123 will be tackling the Burghley House 7 Miler
This one sounds amazing, indeed it is described as a sensational course and a real adventure through the many places that make the area amazing; the race description tells us it has it all. As it won't be HH's first time running this event - I guess they have a point! What's not to enjoy HH? Here's hoping your achilles keeps quiet for the day!
Enjoy it Hedgehogs! I ran it a couple of years ago, it was a great experience and the medal remains one of my favourites! Pom poms in Stratford will be waving for you.
Haha, like I said a few weeks ago, don't think I'd been called 'legendary' before 😃, and I always take snacks , my running buddies think it's hilarious as I always have food with me!! 🤣
Oh, I think that adjective is going to stick….😂. Nothing wrong with taking a food store with you…maybe a kettle and camping stove too; you can’t be too careful 🙂
Ahh Hedgehogs123 , enjoy! That’s the race that I did with Sandie1961 , TailChaser , Katnap and Shake-and-run two years ago! Lush medal, sneaky hill, but it was great fun!
Have fun, and some West Country pompom shakes with you for luck! 😍
Aww thank you, I did it last year, and I know what you mean about that sneaky hill! I'm hoping with all our Welsh 3 peaks hill training I can try and run up rather than walk and run, but haha we shall see!🤣
Pompoms will be waving from Northern France as we head home from skiing! Great run, which I really enjoyed when I did it with some of the gang 2 years ago. Good luck with that sneaky hill and enjoy the bling 🏅
