What would we do without you? Our arms must be toned to perfection with all the pompom waving weβve done this year so far! But thereβs no time to rest yet as we have two fabulous VRBs with events this Sunday.
π Less than a month after an amazing run at the Chicago Marathon, 00marks will be taking it easy (π) by heading to the start line of yet another 26.2 miles run, the iconic New York City Marathon! He got a lottery place on the back of his brilliant performance in Chicago and couldnβt turn it down.
What a race location this is 00marks! Wishing you loads of luck and fun π
π From the US to the UK now and Hedgehogs123 will be taking on the 3 Rivers 15 Challenge. This is 15 miles across country following the rivers Slea, Skirth and Witham in Lincolnshire. It sounds a gorgeous route Hedgehogs so enjoy it all and savour every moment.
Waving lots of pompoms for you both π₯³πͺ good luck, have great runs, have fun and bring back the bling ππ

Wow! They are two extra special races IP! Massive pom pom shaking for Hedgehogs123 and 00marks (together with a fair bit of FOMO π) . Go smash those races π₯°π₯³π₯³π₯³π₯³π₯³π₯³
Have a great time Hedgehogs123 and 00marks . You are both taking on terrific challenges, but with the force of HU behind you, you will definitely prevail. Looking forward to the post match analysis πππππ
Aww thank you. I'm being supported by our running club,so there will be a bit of walking I think as not sure my energy levels will last for the full 15 miles!
Thanks everyone. I really do appreciate the support. I'm in NYC and this morning did a shakeout run in Central Park organised by Tracksmith - they provided free coffee, muffins and croissants! It helped calm the nerves although I do have a bad case of imposter syndrome. Everyone seems to be much younger than me and with so many people wearing Boston marathon outfits its easy to be intimidated. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Thank you everyone, because of ongoing medical issues, I have said I will walk some of the miles, supported by a few from our running club, so we'll all be running together, hopefully not getting too wet, or swept into any of the rivers! ππ§οΈπ§οΈ
Hope I'm not too late with my waving! How exciting 00marks but I can't imagine running another marathon so soon! Good luck! Hedgehogs123 your race sounds lovely! Enjoy it and hope it's not too wet!
