After having a scroll through the HU site, I have discovered this forum, I am a member of several forums within the site and am pleased I have come across this group.
A little bit about myself , in 2020 I completed the C25K programme during lock down and continued to run up to 4 miles twice a week on my own. In 2022 I joined my local running club ( feeling like a fraud!) and gradually increasing my distance and the amount of times i ran a week.
I have run several 10k's and in June this year completed my first half marathon, it was hot, hard and slow, but I ran it and I was very proud of myself, fast forward to the beginning of October 2023 and I completed the Chester Metric Marathon . I am so proud of how far my running has come on and I am keen to run ore half marathons next year and will take part in the Chester Metric Marathon again next year.
My next race is a 10km in December
