FRIDAY POM-POMS RALLYING CALL!! 📣🥳

It’s time to get those pompoms fluffed up again and your arms prepared for more waving for your VRBs on BOTH days this weekend!

⭐️ First up on Saturday we have  Freecloud running the Kilkee HM on the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast of Ireland. The tagline, “Kilkee by the sea, it’s the beauty that sets your mind free” sounds pretty inviting and the description of the course includes reference to “sea cliff panoramic views”, “breathtaking scenery” and “beautiful rugged coastline”. Sounds absolutely gorgeous 😍 We’d love to see some photos Freecloud!

⭐️ Moving on to Sunday next and heading to beautiful Hampshire, we find  Marcathon running the Horton Heath 10K. “After three years of not being able to hold a race, the much loved Wyvern 10K is back” but is now rebranded as the Horton Heath 10K. The run route is mostly on roads and pavements but the last 700m is a combination of running track and grass. So, a complete mixture of surfaces there Marcathon just to keep you on your toes!

⭐️ UPDATE: We have a third VRB, Kevin41 who will be running the iconic ASICS 10K in London on Sunday. This race will take runners past various London sights such as Big Ben, the London Eye and the River Thames. It will be a memorable and fun route by the sound of it and the atmosphere will be brilliant!

I thought I’d written a response but it seems to have disappeared, so trying again. My Pom poms have been super busy this weekend. We have spent the last two days on the roadside at the Tour de France cheering the riders but there is plenty of Pom Pom magic left for HU runners putting one foot in front of the other in search of finish lines and bling. Have wonderful runs everyone.
