HU HM

Hi all. It would be lovely to receive an actual medal after your first HM distance... I know with the HU HM the logo will change on your profile to acknowledge achieving it but will there be any real medals? If not, I may order one for if I achieve it.. I did this at 5K and at 10K, I think its nice to have them and keeps me motivated to head for the next goal. ☺️

Hi    Skiddle1 , sorry, the admin team won't be providing real medals for the HUHM. It's intended as a fun event for our virtual community and similarly to badges, we don't (can't!) measure the distance, it's just taken on trust. Also, like everyone else on the HU forums, we're volunteers so unfortunately don't have the resources.

However   Irishprincess posted giving details of where you can order a medal if you'd like to: healthunlocked.com/marathon..... and she's a bling expert!

I entered a virtual run (and hence got a medal 😍) from Virtual Runner just before I did my first HM. As Cmoi says, I do like my bling!

I’ve entered a virtual spring HM (one of the ones IP suggested) which I’ll run on the day of the HUHM. That distance deserves some bling in my opinion! 🏅

Definitely a good idea to sign up for a virtual HM to get yourself a nice medal to mark the achievement😊
