I promise this is the last post - the final results of our autumn HM and 10k event.
Your enthusiasm has been amazing, your running fantastic and your race reports awesome!!!
But, without further ado, let's announce our winners:
β Guinea70 came in just three minutes faster than our clock time of 2:30:54, to grab first place in the Half Marathon !!!
β RunWillie came in almost two minutes faster than our clock time of 1:12:46, bagging first place in the 10K !!!
Woohoo!!! Congratulations to you both!!!
β Further special mentions are due to Blackberrypie who recorded the fastest HM time in a scorching 1:50:47 and runningdad who recorded the fastest 10k time in a flying 53:45!!!
β Plus, a big shout out to Cmoi who recorded times for the double (again!) and SkiMonday who recorded times for the 10k, a HM and a second half marathon!!!
β And, a massive shout out to nowster who completed a double-double! Yes, that's right two 10k's and two HM's during this event!!!
Above all, to everyone who took part, a huge well done and massive thanks from us.
Thanks too to everyone who contributed to the playlists and the Rungo soundbites! The playlists and RunGo virtual routes are still available if anyone does still want to have a listen (links below)! I have also split the Oxford HM route into three shorter runs starting at 5k, 10k and 15k if anyone wishes to listen to them on shorter runs.
Congratulations to the winners and huge thanks to linda9389 and Rosabi for organising again, yes letβs do it all again in the spring that way Iβll keep focused on my Friday longer runsπ€£πππ»ββοΈ
Thanks for all the putting it together and collecting the results, you both did loads, it was fun to be part of and know so many others running the same run in different places
Well done to the winners, the fastest and everyone who took part. π π Thanks for organising linda9389 and roseabi ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
Think itβs safe to assume that will be the only 10k I ever winπ€£
What an honour though to take part with all you awesome runners! Big thank you to the amazing HU team linda9389 roseabi . Thankful for you all β€οΈπββοΈππ»ββοΈ
I wasn't going to mention it, but during the Sunday to Sunday period I actually did two 10km runs and two HMs! I didn't realise you could do the double.
Woohoo!! Brilliant! what a lovely surprise π thank you for all your hard work to organise this and well done to everyone πββοΈπββοΈπ
Thanks for all your work pulling this together, have downloaded the rungo track for my next long run. Fantastic work everyone particularly those doing doubles and more - impressive work!
Oh, and it wouldn't work on an audio track but this was my favourite sign from the Gosport Half:
Thank you for taking part - and for championing 'the double'!!! Not sure how 'mwah' worked on the frnch soundtrack, the the UK one just didn't get it right (em wah) π€
It was so funny Linda, it got read out letter by letter, really quickly, using French alphabetic pronunciation, so ended up sounding roughly like this: em doob luh veh ah ash!
The Strava lady was still wanging on about my GPS as well, so it all came out as something like "em doob luh veh ah ash your Mum coming back to haunt you votre signal GPS est faible" π π» π°οΈ π± π€£
