As for the last couple of years, we’ve set up a Health Unlocked Team for the upcoming Running World Cup, starting Tuesday 20th September 2022 and finishing on Sunday 9th October 2022.
And I’m aware that we have runners coming from all corners of the world and we can all be on one team. UPDATE: And although we all are on one team, we each run for our own chosen country linked to your profile.
So there are two incentives here:
- run as part of your chosen country
- run as part of our team, and see how much distance we are collectively contributing (to our own chosen countries). there is also a team leaderboard and chat!
One thing to note is that in order for your runs to qualify for being used towards the country total, they need to be at least 30min for 3k . All your runs are listed and tracked but only qualified runs are used towards country results.
And last year, England came fourth but it was touch and go in the final hours to see if we got bronze! See our post at that time healthunlocked.com/bridgeto...
Happy running

Thanks for the heads up on this CBDB. A new sponsor too I see 😊, but when I click the team invite link it takes me to the HU 2022 team but it's a Vitality webpage whereas the 'more info' link takes me to a ProDirect webpage. Do you know if that is just a glitch on their part or do I have the wrong link for some reason?
Someone called Dave (DW) with placement of 6 is occupying the 2, 5 and 6 positions in the leaderboard in the Android app. I suspect a bug. The website shows a completely different leaderboard.
🤣🤣🤣 yes, also on the iOS app. I also don’t get what the numbers mean. But well done everyone!
I think the app has a few glitches this time around. In my total, I also cannot switch off treadmill runs, and as my indoor rower pretends to be a treadmill, my km total includes both distances run outside and distances rowed inside. (And i don’t want to change my Strava setup just for this competition).
So therefore I look like I’m running a lot (but more correctly I am rowing and running a lot 😄🚣♀️🏃🏼)
