Following my astonishing triumph in MK last weekend, I’m on the hunt for a new target! Long term I’m looking down the barrel of the big 26 in Brighton next April, but that’s a long way off yet. So this week I aimlessly trotted about with a 5k midweek and a runto- run - runback Parkrun morning yesterday totally 10k. Lots of dog walking, a lazing about filled up the rest of my weekend.
Question:
Anyone got an exciting 10k-half marathon coming up in the next few weeks? I mean I’ll carry on anyway, but I’d forgotten about the buzz of an organised run.
Any suggestions considered!
Have an amazing week.😊🤪🐶🏃♀️ 💪

It’s always a bit “meh” after a trained-for race but take a look for events online and I’m sure you’ll come up with all sorts! It seems that races are well and truly back around the country 🤗
Things start to quieten down a bit now as it gets warmer. I have to say I like a few weeks freedom before starting an October plan, but it can be hard without a focus after following a plan. Try having a look on Let's Do This or the Run Britain website and see if you can find some inspiration
Haha. Much prefer trail. Which doesn’t mean I’m up for TRC’s Coombe Hill run in June! The OH will do it as usual, but it’s a bit too brutal. I’ll get onto their website though and have a peep!😊
