Well here I am in pretty Lille, the weather is nice, and there’s lots of culture to be had! This morning I donned my trainers and made my way to the park/citadelle for a tourist run. It’s incredibly popular with runners as it’s the main park really, so I saw lots of other folk out and about. I’m used to quiet country roads so not really used to dodging people walking to work and children going to school in a busy area, but it was just plain old interesting having a good people nose as I went past everyone! It’s a nice flat route which was great because having done a ton of walking while here, I just wanted something not too strenuous. I tried to get a nice star shape on the map but didn’t quite manage it as you can see.
It’s so nice to be able to pack your kit and get a different perspective on new places. I feel very lucky. Have a smashing day all! 😊😊😊
