I am really happy with my 7k run this morning - I got my 1 mile personal best! It wasnβt expected, so all the better π. I didnβt do my usual long Sunday run yesterday as I had an emergency dental appointment π£, so I reckon my legs were nice and fresh after a 3 day break. The toothβs another story, if I could have pulled it out myself on Saturday I would have π€£.
Anyway, I still have a way to go before I reach Roger Bannisterβs 1 mile record breaking run back in May 1954, it must have felt like such a heady achievement! But I donβt mind as I had absolutely gorgeous pink sky misty views this morning, itβs really set me up for the day.
Oh dear, I feel the urge for new trainers coming on π€£. Have a cracking day all! πππ

Sounds gorgeous Frenc, what beautiful sky π and well done on your fastest mile π
Toothache is one of the hardest pains I think and why do these things happen at the weekend? I have an emergency dental appointment tomorrow as I lost a bit of a filling but Iβm not in pain thank goodness. Hopefully youβve got yours sorted π€
Thank you IP π. I know, bloominβ teeth! He thinks itβs where I had an extraction and a bit of food got stuck in the newly forming bone. Not so bad today thank goodness. Good luck with your dentist πππ.
Oooh yes, I definitely had that on Saturday on my way to work! Today not so bad. Ah the joys of getting older π€£. Iβm starting to fall apart at the seams, just hoping the running helps somewhat. Actually, it flipping well better had after all this effort π! All the best.
Thank you Sparky! I really enjoyed this run, I was itching to get outside and do it. And the weather seems to be on our side a bit more at the mo. And the tooth is a bit better, thank you for asking. Bloominβ thing π£π.
