What a gorgeous day ๐. I set out with rather stiff legs - Iโve been stretching like a demon and I think I may have had too much of a good thing. And I just couldnโt make up my mind where to go so I settled on killing 2 birds with one stone and did a route that goes past my parentsโ house so I could pop in and say hello. Then run back from there.
I saw a field that from afar looked as though it had lots of funny coloured bales of hay but on closer inspection, it was filled with very socially distanced metal detectorists. I guess they had special permission today from the farmer. I wonder if they find anything exciting!
I pushed on through a lovely village called Sparshot which is picture postcard pretty, then down a tiny lane to reach my folksโ house. No-one was in so I talked to the dogs for a bit. My mum and dad appeared about 5 minutes later so I had a nice cup of coffee and a catch up.
Iโm ashamed to say I accepted the offer of a lift home, it was rude not to! Have a smashing day everyone ๐๐๐.

Isn't it blissful this sunny weather.. we appreciate it all the more because of the winter months โ๏ธ๐Running through a picturesque village.. sounds wonderful.. good on you for getting out .. hopefully you'll be less stiff later for it ๐
Once you've stopped a lift home would be to good an offer to refuse ๐
Enjoy the rest of your day Frenc ๐โโ๏ธ๐๐ถ๐
Thanks Sparky! I did appreciate the lift as the long road back towards me is awful, all uphill and so many tree roots coming up through the pavement. Thatโs my excuse anyway ๐คฃ.
