That wind and rain this past week really put me off my game.. so I woosed out and done my strength training instead πͺ
Was determined thismornin, but it was as bad as ever out there.. βοΈβοΈ another strength training morning.. but after lunch the weather brightened the wind has died down.. sitting watching daytime telly..my thoughts were edging me off my perch in the sofa..so kit on and off I wentπππ
Managed a decent 10K although it was tough after so many days off.. I'm really chuffed to have gotten out..
If I can keep up my scheduled run's I still should make my 100K in Februaryπ€
Huge respect to those who've battled the elements this past weekπ
Happy Running all ππββοΈπ

I know my running took a hit last week with all the crazy weather forecasts. I kept thinking 'it's fine, I'll go out tomorrow' and before you know it almost a week has past.
Iβve not run but been outdog walking and at times itβs been βorrible π¬
Thankfully the dog weighs a ton so heβs quite grounded. His huge hound dog ears flap about though and I thought Iβd have to lash them down π
We got in some right weather a few nights ago but it doesnβt bother him much. I follow him as he instinctively finds the best direction to go in ππ
I was just headed out for a test run but the rain has restarted. Itβs hellishly windy too π€. Iβm going though as Iβve got ready π
I donβt blame you a bit sparky, and well done on your great 10k today! Iβve resorted to the gym and managed to keep my weekly mileage up on the treadmill. I dislike running in the wind, rain and mud intensely, and my regular route has all those, so I wouldnβt have gone without the gym!
Spring is nearly here β¦β¦ isnβt it?? ππ»
Well done on getting it done in the gym cheeky chipmunks.. yeah the winter months are really tough, I've only one route option when it so wet, so gets a bit monotonous.. but woopee spring not so far away nowπΉπ·Hang on in there π€
The last time I was out running was Thursday. It's calmed down a bit here now, but my running time has been taken up with making the back fence safe after the storms and washing the car (first time in at least three months).
Well done Sparky! I think everyoneβs found it tough - last week saw my lowest mileage yet π, so the fact youβll still make 100k is excellent. Iβm just praying the bright and cold weather weβve been promised here actually materialises, as the sofa is a slippery slope, and oh so comfy from where Iβm sitting π€£.
