Hi all, I hope you are all happy and running well ๐
Can anyone recommend a lightweight but warm pair of running gloves.
Thanks for any advice

We had a thread hereabouts on this in the past few weeks so do have a browse ๐
I like merino as itโs warm but thin. I was gifted some gorgeous Ronhill ones ๐ฅฐ
Iโve got several pairs of night reflective high viz jobs from karrimor (matching headbands too ๐) but theyโre not that warm.
I take my gloves off once Iโve warmed up ๐
I got a pair of Head branded running gloves from Costco a couple of months ago. They're just warm enough, and I often find myself sweating into them.
One thing to note is there is a disadvantage to gloves which allow you to use a touch screen with them on. The pads at the fingertips tend to be thin and are a cold spot.
I got both my pairs at TKMaxx (both Nike I think) but I realise itโs pot luck what you can find there although itโs always worth a browse.
Iโve also used ordinary woollen fingerless gloves and these are good enough on chilly days but not freezing weather.
Also, tops with thumb holes are useful. Apart from just once this winter Iโve not had to wear gloves yet and I have very cold hands normally but Iโve got away with just the tops so far.
Mountain warehouse everyday knitted gloves - c. ยฃ14. Nothing really special, lightweight, woollen. I did have to take one off to operate the phone but I now use a garmin watch with real buttons! ๐
Thanks all for your replies, some great advice, I also use a garmin so I'm not bothered about using my phone, I just want warm hands ๐Thanks again and happy winter running all
I wonder how folks can run and use their phone ๐.
I turn mine off. I donโt want disturbing ๐๐โโ๏ธ
I'm with you on this I don't even take my phone with me, running is me-time ๐
Iโve got a few pairs, some thin Karrimor ones that ok if itโs not too cold and some more pricey thick ones for colder weather (cycling gloves are good for this). The best all round pair though are some I got in decathlon a couple of years ago - just their no frills cheap ones but they are very good for most winter weather and fairly waterproof
Womenโs running gloves my favourite are Nike Sphere 360 simply FABULOUS
