Thank you for all your fab suggestions for ideas for a final HU challenge to help us through the festive season. We decided to combine your ideas and set up a good old Bingo card!!!
So here it is! This challenge will run from now until Sunday 2nd Jan.
To complete the card there are specific run/walks scheduled for the ‘weekends’ of 18/19, 24/25 and 31/1, an accumulator for the whole period and other tasks that can be ticked off whenever. Run or walk as you prefer! Try to pick a new route or variation for the naked run to make it a real challenge!!!
I think it’s pretty self-explanatory and hopefully inclusive too. We’d love to see your festive photos – either in your own posts or in the comments below this post (selfies can simply be pictures of your feet or the back of your head if you’re shy, and remember to hide any identifying data in route shots from strava, runkeeper etc.). Let us know when you complete a line and let’s see who is first to ‘full house’!
Hopefully a bit of festive bingo will give us a little extra incentive to get out in the cold and the wet and the wind, despite all the seasonal pressures and distractions!

One question about the naked run: is it a case of using tech to record the run but not checking it during the run? Without that, I can’t see any way of finding out how close I came.
It's either that, or running the same route again on your next run? It's not truly naked unless you have no stats at all right? It's that very fact that it wouldn't be recorded anywhere ... ever ... that strikes fear in my heart 😱But this is just for fun, so any way that suits is good 😊
I'm getting off to a good start with "...and rest" 😁 My first mince pie of the season went down well with a coffee, following my 12k run in the sun and wind 😊😊😊
Brilliant....but I still cannot shake the lurgy I have (not covid) so I'm going to attempt the walk parts and see how I go! Live the idea though and I might just do it all in January!
Yes, that makes sense. I didn’t look at the detail enough and just assumed you’d put one in to push us. I think we’re all a bit crook after a year of pushing ourselves maybe a little too much.
Not the most wondrous tree, but snapped this on my jolly holly festive 10k this morning, & will now tick off another bingo spot with a nice rest & a snack! Bubble & squeak & a glass of wine? Yes please. Terry's Chocolate Orange for afters 😁
