Frosty and a bit icy in parts.. so had to be careful.. kept a nice steady pace and after Tuesday's rough run this one didn't seem too bad..🤪
I wasn't thinking of speed just keeping a nice pace.. I'm terrified of slipping..so was cautious in places.. so when I finished I was really surprised to see I had beaten my 10 Mile PB by a (whopping 35 seconds) 😆
So I'm well chuffed with that 👏👏👏
Happy Running all 🏃♀️🏃♂️🌟

It was a beautiful fresh morning RunWillie and with the winter upon us, not sure how many chances for a long run there will be.. so got out and got it done.. hopefully you will get a longer run in soon 🤗
It’s super hot here now so I’ve decided 90mins is it for me until it cools down! 10miles +will be back next year unless I speed up massively in the meantime 🤣
Good luck nowster for your first run in December, it's in half an hour, looking at that for a fraction of a second I thought that you were going to run it in half an hour, namely 30 minutes
No, I ran it about 1.30pm today. 30 mins would get me a little over 5km nowadays.
10 miles in icy conditions? Chapeau as they say! I don't think I'd be able to. Last winter I ran 30 minutes, will be happy if I can finish a 5K (45 minutes) when it has frozen and the ground is tricky!
It is frightening, but it was only in patches..I didn't take any risks, slowed down or dodged the icy bits.. when it gets worse I won't be running either 😳🥺
Sounds like a great run Sparky, well done. You’re right to think about ice at the moment, I had to walk very carefully to work a few times. Well done on that PB! You’re going great guns 💪🏽👍😁.
