Well, October was awash with your events. There were so many miles covered and much shiny bling on show and we loved reading all the brilliant run reports too π All in all, a busy month for running!
But, November is here already and we would love to know if you have any races this month. I know we have a few to kick us off. The amazing TailChaser is running her second of five 10K races in The Winter Series. We just need the date TC so we can prepare our pom poms. And the fabulous Blackberrypie has the Gosport Half Marathon on 21 November!
We also have a posse of you running the virtual HUHM or HU10K on the 14 November or the week following β¦. Check out linda9389 βs recent post about this:
So, who else has a race in November? Tell us in the comments and give us the date and a link to the website if you can. Weβll then add you to our list and give you a SHOUT-OUT just before your big day!
Good timing, itβs freezing out there today. Iβve got two pairs, both Ron Hills but one pair are really cosy and have reflective bits around the lower parts of the legs. Iβd love another pair of those.
I got two pairs of Ron hill ones. One pair is looser and covered in reflective bits. The others are dead sleek in all black with muted bronze reflective detail. Gorgeous! Winter Radiance! My husband bought them for me bless im
It will probably be Ghost 14s which Iβm just waiting on delivery. The backs have gone in my 13s. Iβm contemplating my Hyperions as they are lovely and speedy but I may be too tempted to overcook it too early in those. The route is the opposite to last time so itβs a long, slow climb for the second half. Decisions, decisionsβ¦π€
Itβs my 5th marathon on Sunday, 21st November. My 64th birthday will have been a few days before π. I aim to run a marathon on or around each birthday
Plans a bit mucked up with injury and now having to self isolate π
In better news my new marathon shoes landed a few minutes ago π€
I just had it in my mind that the marathon needed to be nailed. An itch needing to be scratched. Once done I had to see if I could do it again but quicker, and so on. This might be the year when I donβt βΉοΈ Still, it wonβt be for the lack of trying ππββοΈ
π you are a running machine MissW!! There are not many people who run marathons for their birthdays, never mind birthdays beginning with β6β πͺπͺ
Everything crossed for you π€β¦Iβve noticed your post about the new shoes. Must go and take a lookβ¦
I canβt test em out til some time on Satdy when Iβm released by the powers that be. Iβll be gone in 60 seconds ππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ They are as light as a feather π€
I'm doing the Tatton 10k on Saturday 6th. It was my first ever 10k back on 3rd November 2018. I've run at Tatton many times since, it's so well organised and if you're lucky you get to see deer on the run! π¦
My first race post marathon and just doing long slow runs for a very long time, so I'll see how I get on. Doing another one there 5 weeks after, to try and help keep the motivation up.
