Thanks to covid restrictions, I've waited 2 years to finally run a "real" half marathon event (the 12 previous times I've done the distance have just been me and my mate Strava) and, four days out from finally taking part, I get a twinge in my back.

Giving my final taper run tonight a miss, and hoping against hope that it eases off so that I can run on Sunday.

Feeling somewhat disgruntled at the moment as, whatever has brought this on, it isn't even running related.

I hope you're OK by Sunday the day of your first real half marathon, good luck, just rest as much as you can.

🙈 only you know your body but I've found running can actually help loosen a stiff back... 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you

I too am a nursing a sore back today after an easy run yesterday🤷‍♀️

Maybe it’s just an ache that will clear off with rest. I’d keep moving

Good luck with it 🙂👍
