12 days without running (due to isolation) and so I was really looking forward to my run this morning! Last day of term yesterday so feeling relaxed and in 'school's out' mood π.
Up at 5am and out by 5.30 in a bid to beat the heat! Beautiful morning and amazing sunrise over the water. Photo taken during our warm up walk - pleased with the photo taken on my phone, no filters.
Great 7km run on our usual old railway line route which is mostly shaded and river dips for Squiggy dog. Felt good, gentle pace, breathing easy - very, very enjoyable run. Debating about going to first PR tomorrow but forecast is for heavy showers and thunder/lightning β but looking better on Sunday so I hope to do a longer run and get back to my HM training plan π
Still enjoying daily 5-10 mins Tai Chi - very relaxing.

Oh wow look at that sunrise SS! Absolutely beautiful. πππ
Sounds like the perfect run. Well deserved after your 12 day break. Happy that Mr Squiggy was able to have a dip too. π
Iβm actually thrilled that itβs meant to rain for PR tomorrow. I love running in the rain, and itβll feel especially refreshing after all the scorching hot runs of late. Enjoy your next run, PR or otherwise. π πββοΈ
Youβve got me singing along with Alice Cooper now π
What a stunning photo Sue! Definitely worth getting up so early for π I had an early run like this last week and it was gorgeous, so cool and beautiful time of day to see the sun rising.
Sounds like a great run for you. Will be thinking of you tomorrow as Iβve got my long one then too π Go us!
Lovely photo!π Oh, it must have felt so good to get out running again after isolation skysue16 ! Your route sounds lovely and very like mine - well done!π
