So recently I have switched from base milage to focusing on speed and hills. Pleased to say after 6 weeks of hard work I headed down last weekend to my trusty Vikky Park (a nice 800m tarmac oval...literally zero elevation) and had a crack at my 10k. Previously I was around 51:10. Came in substantially quicker at 47:54
Really chuft with my progress and feeling good for my first road races! Cov 10k in June and Leam HM in July....
Sights are on that HM PB now...it needs to be sub 1hr 50....๐คฃ....got my pace i need locked in 5:13km for 21km will hit a 1:49 HM....

Ridiculously speedy Windoze! What great work youโve put in. You deserve to smash your HM PB and Iโm pretty sure itโs a dead cert youโll do just that! ๐๐ฅ
Fantastic Windoze! Iโm sure youโll get that HM pb.There was an article in Runners World this month with Vassos saying his sub 3hr marathon was 6:45/mile. I canโt imagine ever doing your speed for that distance let alone his speed! Hats off to you my speedy friend!
