It’s done -get over the disappointment that it wasn’t my fastest HM - it’s only my third but I was hoping!
I was though thrilled to complete it in such warm weather 🥵and to achieve it in 2hours and 43mins with an average pace of 7.43.
Had to take lots of fluid onboard 💦 💦💦so much so I’d decided to drink what I had at 14k knowing I could get some water a couple of K further on but a very kind man on a barge where I’d paused opened up the freshwater tap for me - what a gent and I was on my way again -slowly 🐢
I’d reversed the route from the last time and added in a new extra part which was very pretty.
I paused again at 18k to have a couple of jelly babies and a quarter of flapjack and water to give me a final boost as I made my way home. 🏡
On the plus side I’ve started the summer tan on arms and legs as I’d worn short sleeve top and shorts for the first time this year.
So all in all another HM under my belt all be it a very warm one 🥵😁🏃🏻♀️🎉
Thank you to Linda9839 and Roseabi for such fantastic organisation and fun 🤩 💐💐👏
Happy Easter everyone 🐣
