Well I did it, yesterday when the weather was perfect, pleased I did as the weather in my corner of Wales is less than perfect today.
I went out at 9.00 having chosen my route, a hilly one to make the most of our amazing scenery. As I mentioned the weather was perfect, I got out with less faffing than normal and enjoyed most of it, except for the emergency loo stop at a handily place public loo in one of the villages (you don’t need more details on that though). The loo stop came at 16 km and rather put me off my stride but no worries, just after this I was struggling up a hill and got shouted at by a cyclist coming the the other direction to “look up”, he was only being useful and trying to stop me from being run over, however he might have smiled at the same time!
I found my stride again and carried on, all good but I can’t pretend the final 2 km were pretty. I got home, did my yoga warm down, had a lovely soak in the bath and watched the Grand Prix qualifiying. Hubby cooked super Indian feast for supper so all in all It was a good day.
Well done to all those who have done either the 1/2 or the 10k, and thank you to the group, I don’t post often but I look and take inspiration from you all every sing day.

Feeling good but a slightly niggly right knee had told me to take a couple of days off. I have learnt the long hard way to listen to my body. Hope you are feeling good with no ill effects.
Woohooo 👏🙌🎉🍾 Well done - well run! Big congrats! 🎉🎊🍾🥳 I only did 9k yesterday, but needed 5 hours to get the energy again to do my daily yoga practice! So doubly well done!
