So in a few weeks my sister and I are planning a HM along the Cornish coastpath with a break at the cafe in the middle. Shes a person I really admire for lots of reasons which include:
She’s a gymnast and her determination is hardcore. When she wants to learn a new move she watches loads of YouTube and practice practice practice till she gets there...
She loves running, she has no Garmin and has no idea how far she goes or how fast and she doesn’t care. When we run together we mostly go super slow and then she will suddenly say,’ this is the fun bit,’ and she will zoom off into the dunes and I try and keep up! She will also sporadically do flips as we run on the beach. To me this is what it’s all about.
So she asked me to do her a training plan for our HM, and after some head scratching I did it in pictures. She runs the same route I always do at mums so I know what the milestones are. I have attached a pic. I’m really excited and looking forward to exploring a bit further down the coastpath with her...
Happy Panthering

I hope so Ju... after all the great , and really helpful advice on the Marathon and Half Marathon forum post, where I asked for help... I have taken some thought and written my own... I need an idea of where I am going, as this is really new ground for me.. so...I shall be following the 10% rule.. I began yesterday with just a leg warm up of 4K and did another run this morning... I have got my running days sorted and my exercise regime has been tweaked too..so... watch this space... this one is tailored to me...slow and steady, but in an enjoyable manner...and with room for tweaking runs here and there too..
I will get there... !
PS
I love the idea of a picture plan to go alongside it.. I may have to borrow the idea.. x
