Exciting Tasha! π€ Fingers crossed it goes ahead π€ Itβs the same day as the Great South Run, and a few of us on here are entered in that, so thereβll be plenty of fingers and toes crossed for October 17th. π
I think you learn a lot about yourself when you have run a marathon. From that you learn what best works for you and what you would do differently next time. My second marathon was so chilled out, I fuelled better and didn't hit the wall. I was running to support a friend so the pace was a but slower (15 mins overall). You can do this and have a much better day based on your lessons from last time.
I think you're right, you need to sort those demons, you're more than capable, you just need to look after your legs a bit more and just enjoy the day. You've got this ππ»πͺπ»π
Loads of time to get there. Really hope it goes ahead, cos maybe the Great South will go ahead on the same day and quite a few of us have entered π€π»π€π»π€π»π€π»
