Hahaha - I think I will be saying never again as well, but I have a deferred place next year for Blenheim half so no escape. I didn’t have more than bad period type pains just before second stage in childbirth and a painless second stage so won’t use the childbirth analogy, but I’m sure that’s what it will be like for me on Sunday!

Haha! I didn't the same thing after my 20 k trail race. Signed up for a road HM next June. I have barely ran since my HM....but it is a long way off. Hotel is booked though and it is in a National Park so nothing is cheap so that will be my incentive to get back running soon....I hope.

That was our thought. I'm running it with my trail running partner who has been on the IC for the last year with knee issues and her daughter. We're hoping to keep it fun and low stress, just taking in the scenery and enjoying a girl's weekend in Banff.
