A couple of days late posting this, but there again it’s a few months later than planned to achieve it.
But I have finally managed my first HM distance run. Part of it was on a completely new route a towpath along the River Stort that I didn’t realise you could run, and it ‘s absolutely beautiful through a Nature Reserve too. But not only that it was also my largest elevated climb and the last 2miles was all up hill on that climb.
Time was not brilliant but that was not the objective. The distance was. I think that is my max distance now, at least for the time being I shall consolidate that for next few months and hopefully be able to participate in an organised HM in the not too distant future.
Am I chuffed and proud? You bet I am!
