I just signed up for the Brighton Half in February. I did C25k in lockdown and I’ve only just completed my first 10k. I wanted to keep going and planned to do an HM in 2021 and a full in 2022. I’m super excited and a bit petrified too 😍

A very warm welcome to this forum. Check out the weekly posts for the Autumn Half Marathon group where you will find lots of information and conversations about training for a half marathon. You can find the latest one here (and there will be a new post tomorrow) healthunlocked.com/marathon...
Running a half marathon is a great thing to achieve, and very doable too!
Good luck, but most of all have fun and let us know how you get on with your training 😀
I may have agreed to do a half in March with friends😳not sure if they still want to do it. I might need to ask if it’s too much too close together for a beginner 🤣🤣 if it is I will just do this one.
Ah!! So have I!! Well done for signing up!! It’s very exciting isn’t it😀 Sadly I have just picked up my first serious running injury- my hip - so hoping to get it sorted ASAP so I can get back to running again soon as currently impossible. Been trying to get physio appointment which is not proving easy. Best of luck with the training💪
Thats bad luck. My knee started hurting last run, usually from my hip being misaligned, I had to stop my strength and flexibility exercises when I pulled something in my side. I need to start it again to make my knee better! Good luck getting an appointment it will be worth it. See you in Brighton 😍
