Dorset Ooser HM

Apparently pronounced Osser. Rhymes with ‘Daft Loris thinks he’s a hill runner’.

The course was varied. Short steep hills. Long hills. Picturesque villages. Brilliantly organised to be COVID safe. Lots of nice people marshalling and running.

The weather was kind. Light rain throughout kept me from getting too hot. I was very much a drowned Loris by the finish. I suffered chafing for the first time. Feels like I’ve been breastfeeding two small Piranhas for hours. I think it was the wet T shirt. (Hold that mental image, Loris in a wet T shirt.)

A great event that I highly recommend.

Haha I laughed out loud at the comment about the piranhas 😂😂 so funny but probably not so much for you 😖

How great to read about a real-life event, sounds brilliant and very reassuring that actual runs are starting to happen.

And that bling!!! I’m so jealous, it looks fabulous. Well done SlowLoris...... just waiting for the photo of the wet t-shirt.......

Oh well done LP. I saw quite a few posts about it locally and that it was a great event 😀. Hope you heal soon though. Sounds sore!

Haha! Great race report! (Sorry, not sure that sounds suitably sympathetic 🤔). Really good to hear that you felt safe, the organisers clearly did a good job. Well done for not letting a bit of chafing scupper your race, hope it feels better very soon 💪👏👏👏
