Good afternoon everyone π I haven't posted for a little while, but I have been running (LOTS) π
I've been keeping myself busy by finishing off DIY projects, including my medal board, restoring a few bits of antique furniture, squirrel watching πΏοΈ and loads of running ππΌββοΈ
I still have no idea of when I will be able to go back to work or even if we'll have a business to go back to, but my spirits are high π
Hope everyone is fit and well and enjoying their running! β€οΈ

Well done Ali you're definitely a running queen with a drill in one hand and a screwdriver in the other ππ
We're all alive and well I'm taking that as a positive Ali π we've just been informed the girls are starting back to school on the 29th of June, we wait for more information on the timetable etc..... But as much as I've loved having more us time it means, I'll be free to run more, as it seems there's always something that takes priority π€π€¨.
Your mobile vintage clothes shop sounds like a fantastic idea, I hope it kicks off for you and you never know..... From small acorns as they sayππ
It seems like you've got a bit of a change about to happen. And wherever there's a Yin, there's always a Yang β―οΈ
Are the girls looking forward to going back? I've definitively got my son at home with us until he goes back to uni at the end of September, which I'm happy about π but his year of studying in Japan and Australia is definitely off π’
I'm just going with the flow and seeing what happens next. As long as there's running involved, I don't care what happens π€£
I guess they're kinda glad in their own little teenager way, they were worried Incase friends weren't returning but so far so good. They've stuck to studying at home albeit relaxed and hmmmm the odd late bedtime. But the routine will kick back in eventually.
They probably won't do full weeks, I'm guessing it'll be 2 or 3 days a week so to allow all the children the chance to get in.... It sucks that your son will miss his travel year that sounds amazing βοΈππ
What a great positive, uplifting post. And an absolutely super medal board. Go you!!! Whatever the future holds I feel sure you'll be making the most of it ππ
Forgot to mention I've bought a camper van and I've started selling all my vintage clothes that I've never worn and collected over the years! π€£ Hope all is good with you? X
Iβm doing well. I just did my Banff virtual HM on Saturday. It was slower than my last one by a couple minutes but I really struggled with getting the runs in this go around. Time for a little break from any plans and time to just run for the shear fun of it. Iβm looking forward to it.
I've managed to put most worries aside and I'm quite enjoying the change of pace of life at the moment π I've never had so much 'ME TIME' π and family time! And as for running time! I can't get enough of it π€£
Hope you enjoy your break from your plans and really enjoy those runs just because you can! β€οΈ
Thank you C3PO βΊοΈ I love a bit of DIY π€£ Hope you're well xx
I love your medal board, very creative and a great way to showcase your awesome running. Those PBs are fab, especially the fm compared to hm, brilliant.
You are a really strong runner there, amazing achievements. I'm ticking over at about the hm distance, every month I try and get 13 miles done. My PB was at the big half, 2hr 05 on strava or 2hr 10 event time. I'm not sure where to go now though. I was supposed to do RTTK day 2 30 miles but it was deferred to next year. Another fm seems possible, maybe bettering my 5hr 17. The new forest is still on for september and a friend is running it.......π€ food for thought!
