Here's my lovely 10K medal from our virtual run a couple of weeks ago. I'm very pleased with this for what it represents - at the moment 10K is a bit of a stretch for me, but I did it.... I've been running for very nearly 10 years.... and of course, nearly 10 years on this wonderful forum. I thought about all this, and all you that were running with me as I did this. Thanks for all you support over the years.
As Irish John would say "we run on our own, but we never run alone" (Whatever happened to him?)

Great photo of you Curlygurly2, I am glad that you enjoyed your virtual HU 10K and now have your 🥉 medal, I am still waiting for mine, the postman just passed my house, so no 🥉 medal this week for me, perhaps next week.
That seems a long time Al. It may be worth sending Sprinters an email to check they have processed your order OK. It was my understanding that the medals were all being made and sent out in one batch.
Of course anything can get lost in the post, but I think it would be worth checking with Sprinters just to be sure they received your order OK.
Not sure how many people have not received their medal due to a failure at PayPal, I got a email from Sprinters telling me I won't get a medal because there was a failure at PayPal, at least I haven't lost any money.
That sums it up nicely CG. There are always people with us (actually and virtually) to cheer us on, help us up when we falter and deliver a well meant kick in the pants when required! I am very pleased with my medal too.
Irish John; he appears briefly from time to time, sparkles brightly in his inimitable entertaining way and then disappears for a while. Last time he wrote I think he had just come back from crewing on a schooner; he could be anywhere. Hopefully he will drop in again in his own good time; a real character.
Thank you! Yes, I'm amazed frankly! I only started running as a replacement to swimming when I developed an inner ear problem, never expected to do more than finish C25K!!
