Finally and exactly after 2 month i went out for run. It tough too tough. Fitness is gone for toss. Since lockdown started I went out of my house only once to collect prescription and medicine last week. But going out to collect medicine gave me confidence to come back on track. Ofcourse I am extra cautious because I don't want to put my family at risk, but staying inside for long was started to affect mental health. I was not feeling good as I had to stop my marathon practice/training due to current situation.
Though it was hot and tough, I enjoyed running after so many days. I know it will take time to get back to my best time and distance but starting is good. Also I made a habit of walking at least 10k steps daily inside house which help me a lot in keeping my leg muscles in good shape otherwise running after a gap always leave me in ankle pain.
Happy Running everyone.
Keep yourself and your family safe and healthy π

Well done for finding both the confidence and the motivation to get back out there to run after this difficult two month break.
There's no hurry and no pressure. Take time to enjoy the running you can now do; go steadily, taking time to build back to where you were, relish every step and fitness will gradually come back without risk of injury. It will be such a positive boost for your mental health after all that time indoors. Enjoy and take care.
Well done for getting out there and seeing it through in the heat! Iβm sure the fitness will be back soon enough. In the meantime I hope you are able to enjoy the runs when you can.
Thanks. Yes it's not very good feeling if you are not able to run without reason.
Running marathon is one of my biggest dream which I want to achieve before I die. I am just 39 but I don't want to deviate from a good and healthy routine which I started after years of struggle, otherwise I am just working working and working .
