Oooh this just came through my door ๐คช๐๐. Ridiculously excited ๐. Never had a shoe chip before either ๐ฎ.

Awesome!
Shoe chips - I quite like them, I think the the ones on race numbers can be a bit cumbersome.
It says DO NOT OPEN until race day - it's like Christmas ๐
I agree! Race numbers with big foamy chips are so uncomfortable. They make the numbers pinned on your front so unwieldy. I love a shoe chip. I don't like the queues at the end to cut them off so much though, that's when I want to go and get a doughnut, not queue!
Oh no. Don't like the sound of that either!
Oh, I sort of dodged the shoe tag queue when I did the Bath Half - I just took it off myself and threw it into a bucket where others were being dropped by the 'tag removers'! ๐
Great insider tip! Thank you ๐. Why do these get collected but the foam ones never are?
I think they may be reused(?) but not entirely sure Linda. Also, look out for the photographer at the end who will take a photo of you with your shiny medal in front of their BH signage. I had a lovely one taken with my sister - I rarely buy official photos but this was worth having.

Great to be looking forward to something like that. You're going to be great... as always ๐๐ป๐๐

Oh fantastic! I want mine now. Makes it seem very real doesnโt it? ๐๐๐
It does indeed! I'm beaming and jiggling about with excitement ๐๐๐
... doing a little happy dance, but it's OK there's no one home to see ๐
You should do your happy dance regardless! ๐๐คฃ happiness is contagious ๐
Doing it while I can - off for a sports massage now and don't think I'll feel much like dancing when I come back (although there is that bike ride I wimped out of yesterday still to do .... sigh....)
I do love a massage! Concentrate on processing any painful bits as tickles! Feeling it as pain will only cause you to tense, making it more painful. I laugh like a kid squirming on the floor during mine ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ fortunately she's very used to it now ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ

Love it!

Ooh Linda, I just got mine too! Iโm in the orange start too ๐ค
Iโm going to have to get someone to attach my shoe chip because I wonโt have my glasses with me to read the instructions ๐
So exciting I could burst.....๐โโ๏ธ๐ค
Iโve never even heard of a shoe chip, let alone used one before! ๐
Dance it off! It's the only way ๐คช. I'm gonna need my glasses AND a magnifying glass for that race guide too!
From the race guide it looks like green and white are the fast and elite runners and everyone else is orange ๐คฃ
Just checked my son's bib - he's in WHITE, not even the last pen of white - he's in E. Lord knows what he estimated his finish time to be ๐ฑ. No chance he'll be waiting for me to reach the finish line ๐ฅ๐

How exciting! Game on! ๐๐ช๐๐โโ๏ธ

Ooh, sounds like a brilliant HU meet up as well. How exciting ๐ Hampton Court is the same day as yours - wonder if my bib will be waiting when I get home ๐ค
That's one on my list! they all come at once and hubbie made me promise I'd only do one per season after last year's debacle!
Iโm only doing it because itโs flat and I get free entry to the Palace gardens๐
Same reasons I'm doing the Kew 10k in September. Can't wait for that one
Ooh, Kew in September might be more colourful than Hampton Court in March ๐ค
Now those two definitely aren't either/or! Go for both!!! I don't think the Kew one was all that pricey either, although I may have been in denial! I booked it as soon as entry opened ๐

Ooooh exciting ๐xxx
