It wasn't fast by any stretch of the imagination but today is the day that I have been building up to and I felt amazing. My last mile was as strong as my first, my heart rate was in zone 2/3 for all of it and I got to try out my new hydration pack which was amazing even on a cool day like today.
Better still I got to meet with a friend who is training for her first marathon and do 6 miles of the route with her so we got to have a good ole natter on the way around.
My plan now is to run 10km once a month and 10 miles ish once a month from now until May then I will start my half marathon training properly as I would like to come in at around 2.5hrs so need to work on pace.
