My goodness I need to quickly grow some more arms for a glut of Pom Pom waving! Best of luck RunBrianRun , Tjcp , Betj , 00marks , Katnap , R4inbow , SkiMonday , Tasha99 . Blackberrypie I hope you feel better soon, and aliboo70 good luck if you run. Hope I’ve not missed anyone out 😊.
Hi! Just ran my ninth half in Barcelona this morning and took 6.5 minutes off my personal best so feeling super happy! I upped my runs from 3 to 4 a week from January and also have done 6k as my short run before work instead of 5k since then. Could really feel the results of the change and have to say I didn't hit the 'when will it finish?' around 18k-19k like I have done in the past. Trying to stop myself going out for a run this afternoon!!!!
womensrunning.com/health/we... seemed most helpful to me as it suggests how to tailor to different levels of illness and inactivity, and has suggestions on how to monitor whether you're recovering or overdoing it. Plus unlike some articles, it didn't suggest not even starting to do mild exercise until 10 days after symptoms cleared...
I sold my race place as Kenny was in hospital with his daughter ,but then she got released earlier which was good news. Kennys place didnt sell so I went and supported him and 15 other club mates.had a lovely day anyway! 😁xxx
Hello to you amazing runners, I hope that you have a really good time in the ways that you smile lots. 😁🏃🏻♀️😁🏃♀️😁🏃🏻♂️😁And I hope those who are unable to make the start line are soon well again.

There’s nerves a plenty in our household! I’ve been feeding up Katnap with pasta meals all week so hopefully all his glycogen is ready and willing to power him through the streets of Manchester! It’s great to know there will be a big HU contingent looking out for each other - have loads of fun everyone whichever race you’re doing 🥰 👏👏👏
