I've been involved in cross training with my martial arts club. There's no better way of looking after your knees than a form of kung fu after several beers and a cake. At least l know how to hold balance in tricky situations. Lol.

Oooh I've been to Redcar! For the parkrun, while I was was staying down the coast for a few days. Running up the beach from Saltburn to Redcar early in the morning before a hotel breakfast was lovely. Redcar beach and seafront is lovely

Yes I’ve done that parkrun a few times 👍🏽 I really like running along the front to Marske 👌🏽 it’s a small world! If you’re ever there again, let me and beachcomber know!

I ran up the beach, on the foreshore, from Saltburn to Marske and then further up towards Redcar and then back to the hotel before breakfast before anyone else was up. I had planned to catch the train up for the Parkrun but OH took us in the car. I had a lovely time. Friendly bunch!
